Major Concern: Dealing with excess oil & blemishes

I received the Liquid Silk Revitalizing Essence and have now used it for about five days. As I did not know if this product contained oil or exactly how it would affect my skin, I used it in the evening after I took off my makeup and did not use it in the morning before putting on makeup.
After removing my makeup, my skin usually feels a bit tight, but I don't have much problem with tightness or dry skin. I am more prone to oiliness, though I do get some dry skin in places in the winter. Normally, I will remove my makeup at night and not apply anything or I will apply some type of moisturizer. Instead of doing either of these, I applied the Liquid Silk Revitalizing Essence. After each application, my skin felt much softer and just had a nicer feel too it. Though it felt moisturized, it did not feel oily or greasy. I do plan on trying this on my face in the morning as well and see what that does.
My only complaint with this product is that I was not quite sure what it was supposed to be used for. It says to apply after washing your face, but I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be used in place of a moisturizer or in addition to it. As my skin is oily, I used it in place of a moisturizer, but those with dry skin might want to use both.
I like the way this product made my skin feel after applying it in the evening and I will try to use it in the morning and see what it does. I also look forward to seeing if it has any long-term effects on my overall skin appearance.
