Great Cleanser for normal to oily skin...

This product is a workhorse. I was extremely impressed at how clean my skin was after just one use. My previous cleanser left make-up residue on my skin, whereas this purifying gel removes all traces of my daily routine. I'm impressed!

i have tried this product just once so far, but i feel like it really did a good job of cleansing my face in a very gentle way. i followed up with the Creme Gel and the two make a great night-time cleansing combo.

I found the scent a bit stronger than I would have liked on this product, but I was able to get past that since it did such a nice job of cleansing my face. The scent dissipated pretty quickly after I used it, and I found that it wasn't drying or irritating. Also, after using it for a few days, I noticed that my face was substantially less "shiny" than it usually gets about halfway through the day. Overall a nice alternative to my usual face cleanser of just normal soap.

If I could give it six stars I would...

I can not say enough good things about this cleanser. I have oily, acne-prone skin, as well as extremely sensitive skin. Virtually every skincare product out there causes an allergic reaction on my skin. I was nervous to try this product, as any new skincare is an experiment to say the least. I started out just using it in the morning, instead of my ProActive cleanser. The smell is heavenly and fresh, and a little goes a LONG way. It doesn't lather much, which I liked, because it rinsed away with hardly any water. When I used my toner there was no residue left behind by the cleanser. I also noticed that it basically eliminated any shine. I tend to need to "blot" several times a day to reduce shine, but this cleanser balanced my skin with the first try, all day long.

Three weeks later I'm still using this product, and not just in the morning. I had no reaction to this gentle cleanser, and I have completely replaced my ProActive with it, something I never thought I would be able to do. My skin is clear and soft, balanced and smooth. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who deals with excessive oil and breakouts.

And a nice bonus: it's gentle enough to use on my eyes and removes eye makeup like a pro!

I have combination/oily sensitive skin.. This cleanser is strong enough to keep my face mattified, but gentle enough that it doesn't irritate my skin. I LOVE it! My only caution is to use white washcloths. My blue one turned gold!

Great!!!!!

Wow,I absolutely love this product!!! At first, I was a bit sceptical, since my face is very oily as well as sensitive. And as so many others, I have tried so many products, that I thought this one would fall in the same line with those other unsuccessful ones! Oh, but I was in for a surprise. I've been using this product for 2 weeks now and I have not had one single break out, plus my face feels soft and it's not shiny at all. I am so glad I tried this product, I just hope that Walgreens will continue to have it for a long time to come.

My new favorite cleanser
BrinaK8 from Portland, OR on May 14, 2007
Major Concern: General skin improvement
Age: 25 and younger
This was one of the first products i used from the collection and I absolutly fell in love with it. When i use it i don't have to worry about a residue being left behind and it really helped clear up some of my breakouts and i didn't have to worry about allergic reactions because it was so gentle. When i ran out of the first bottle, i went back to the cleanser that i was previously using, i ended up throwing it away because it failed in comparison to this cleanser.
