Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Often our customers have questions regarding the products in the European Beauty Collection. We've answered the most common questions below. If you still have a question, please contact us.
- Where can I buy European Beauty Collection products? The European Beauty Collection is available at select Walgreens stores around the United States. To find the nearest participating Walgreens store use the Walgreens storefinder. In addition, European Beauty Collection products can also be purchased online at Walgreens.com.
- Can you recommend the right products for me to use?The European Beauty Collection focuses on simplifying premium skincare. It is important that our customers select the products that are formulated to meet their individual needs. The majority of Walgreens stores have Beauty Advisors who are trained to provide expert advice tailored to your skin type and preferences. Simply visit a participating store and ask the Beauty Advisor to assist you with your product selection. You may also try the Product Selector on this website to help you find the products that are right for you.
- How can I get samples of European Beauty Collection products?Unfortunately we do not mail samples by request. If you are a registered member of our European Beauty Club, you will receive periodic offers – which may include samples. Also, select Walgreens stores will have samples available. Find your nearest participating Walgreens store using our storefinder.
- Do the European Beauty Collection brands test their products on animals? No. Our brands do not use animals to test their products, nor do they have animal testing conducted on behalf of anyone else.
- What makes the European Beauty Collection products better than other products in the skincare market? The European Beauty Collection offers products that are specially made in small, local communities across Europe using traditional formulas and farming techniques. We produce less product but passionately emphasize the quality of our premium skincare lines. These exceptional standards have made the European Beauty Collection products some of the top sellers in European department and specialty stores. We proudly bring those standards to the American marketplace for your fulfillment.
- I have sensitive skin, which would be the best European Beauty Collection products for me?The Skincode range is composed of natural ingredients used in their purest forms, so while it’s highly effective, it’s also extremely gentle. These products are great for sensitive skin because they respect its natural moisture, balance and health. They’re also dermatologically tested at the University Hospital in Zurich. If you have sensitive skin, the Skincode products are best for you.
- I see a lot of your products contain olive oil, what are the benefits of that?Olive oil is one of the best emollients for the skin. It is naturally loaded with powerful antioxidants and vitamins that provide moisture and firmness while protecting the skin from the harmful effects of external aggressors like sunlight and water. Both the Oli and the Red Water collections utilize the properties of olive oil. Within Oli products, the combination of olive oil with olive leaf extract and other nutrients offers superb anti-aging qualities that replenish the skin from within. The Red Water series relies on a more organic olive oil for complete hydration and nourishment.
- I noticed that the La Fleur Organique product range contains very high percentages of organic (active) ingredients, but not quite 100%, is there a reason for that?Cosmetic products are complex formulas composed of many different elements. Most of the ingredients (oils, essential oils, floral water, etc) can be of 100% natural origin and organically certified, but some of the others (emulsifying agents, solubilizing agents, water, viscosity controlling agents and preservatives), which are a necessary part of the La Fleur formulation, are obtained by a chemical transformation. While these ingredients come from a natural origin, they cannot be organic. Thus only very simple formulas could be certified as a full 100% organic; the others fall just short.
- Which products would you recommend for an in-home spa treatment? Both the Institut Arnaud and Spa Aquatique product ranges present ideal professional spa treatments for the comfort of your own home. The Institut Arnaud is a luxurious and easy-to-use series that pampers the face and body for all skin types. It focuses on anti-aging, cleansing and body slimming. The Spa Aquatique collection is also suitable for all skin types but utilizes a higher concentration of marine-active ingredients for the face and body. It centers on anti-aging, oil balancing and body contouring. Either of these assortments would effectively enhance your home skincare treatment.
